aka Eraser In My Head

This movie is about Kim Su Jin (Son Ye Jin) and Choi Chul Soo (Jung Woo Seong) and their love story. The story starts off as Su Jin waits at the train station for someone to arrive. She was planning to run away with a married man but he didn't show up. She was heartbroken and left. Su Jin went to a convenience store and bought a coke but forgot to take it when she went out. She went back to get it and was going in but the entrance was blocked by Chul Soo who was coming out. The kept getting into each other's way untill she looked up at him annoyed. He was holding a coke can and opened it. He was going to drink from it but she snatched it and drank it. After that, she left and Chul Soo watched her go, smiling.
After that, they meet again at a construction site. When she bought a coke from the can machine, he took it from her and drank it. Later, they decide to go steady. After dating a while, Su Jin wonders if he could meet her parents but Chul Soo refuses, saying why should he meet her parents. They argue a lot because of this but she sets him up to meet her parents anyway. During the meeting, Su Jin collapsed because of overstress and Chul Soo carried her to the hospital. Seeing how in love they were, her parents decided to let them be. They get married and live a happy life. But then the unexpected happens. Su Jin gets more and more forgetful so she went to see a doctor. She is diagnosed with a rare case of Alzheimer's disease at age 27. She didn't want to tell Chul Soo but he later finds out. Su Jin tells him to leave her since she won't even remember him soon. Chul Soo says that he will be her memory and her heart. But things prove too tough later on, and Su Jin decides to run away because she didn't want to hurt Chul Soo anymore.
When Chul Soo gets a letter from her, he rushes off to find her, wanting to tell her something that he had never told her before. He manages to find her and brings her back to the first place they met, hoping to restore her memory. The last scene shows them driving and Chul Soo tells her 'i love you'.

I just watched this movie and it was absolutely beautiful. The story was so heartbreaking and I cried a few times during the movie. Wonderful acting and great chemistry between the two leads. Plus, Jung Woo Seong is so hot, especially when his hair is half-covering his eyes, he looks so cute. He plays a very rough guy, who's had a tough past while she portrays a happy, sweet woman. They are two very different people and yet they fall in love. The art direction is also great in this movie but I watched the director's cut of the movie so I don't know how different it is from the theatrical version. Their love story is quite different from the rest as it seems real and true between them, and there aren't any overdramatic scenes where they declare their love for each other. Rather, their love for each other is shown through actions. Anyway, you won't ever regret watching this movie. It is a serious must-see movie.

favourite scenes:
- when they first meet at the convenience store
- when chul soo says that if she drinks that glass of beer, then they would go steady. that part was so romantic..
- when he shows her the card trick. he looks so cute doing that.
- all the moments between them..lol..
