Perhaps Love

Perhaps Love

A new movie coming out in December that's been receiving a bit of a buzz. Starring Takeshi Kaneshiro, Zhou Xun, Jacky Cheung and south-korean actor Ji Jin Hee. Directed by Peter Chan. A chinese musical, involving a love triangle.

Watch the trailer at the official site It's enough to get you excited. Why? Cos it looks freaking darn fabulous, and Takeshi is total eye candy. And did I mention it was a musical? I heard this movie was coming out and saw the official trailer at MPH 1 Utama today and it looked so good! Totally my kind of movie. Romance. Musical. Drama. Korean actor (haha). Hope it doesn't disappoint.

For those who can download mms files, you can get the trailer here. Streaming Windows Media.

And if you want more info on this movie, you can read it here: variety.com article.

School is over! Sorta . . .

Finally, school is over, for my class anyway. Some classes will be still be going to school during SPM. But it doesn't feel like school is over at all. I have accounts test tomorrow and I'm going to have to study tonight. And there's loads of homework during the holidays for bio, chem and I still have finish up my moral folio. Plus, SPM next year! Gonna have to revise revise revise during the holidays. No more slacking! Or so I keep telling myself. My chemistry is horrible. But other than that, I think I can manage through it. I got 4th in class, amazingly enough. I thought I would get bottom half during the end year exams because I didn't really have time to study and I don't pay attention in classes at all, besides m3 time. Love add m3!! I got my first A for it. Haha. Anyway, it seems like school went by so quickly this year. I can't imagine that next year will be my last year in school. It seems like a million miles away.

Sappy Love Movies

I'm so sleepy right now. But I'm still waiting for my song to finish dloading. Right now, it's going real slow.

Just watched An Affair To Remember, the 1997 movie starring Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr. Oh, that movie is so beautiful! I know it's a bit too sappy and mushy for some people, but for me it was just beautiful. It's like a perfect old-fashioned love story, something you'd read from novels and fanfic without the sex part..haha.
About Nicky Ferrante who's engaged to a rich woman but then meets Terry McKay onboard of a cruise ship. At first, they were just flirting with each other but later on they fall in love. They agree to meet each other 6 months later on the top of the Empire State Building, while they both try to get jobs. But tragically, Terry gets into an accident on her way there (sob). And Nicky doesn't know about it. Terry's legs get paralysed in the accident but it's not certain whether she can walk or not. Later on, they meet each other again by chance but they just say hello. He goes to see her and then finds out about the accident. That last scene is really touching. Just makes you wanna go 'aw!' It's a damn romantic movie. That's all I can say. And it has a lot of wonderful songs in the movie too.

Now must go find the 1939 original, Love Affair. = )

Great Way To Spend A Day Is To Bake!

Check it out, I have a new layout! Did you notice? Did you notice? I used CSS and had to tamper with it a million times. Still not that nice though. I must brush up on CSS again. But it looks different with Firefox and IE. Firefox, the font is black for some reason. And for IE, the font is the colour I set it to. I just don't know how to fix it. And I can't seem to work the padding for the sidebar.

Anyway, today went to MIB (Malaysian Institute of Baking) for a baking course. Interact Club was hosting it and they had extra places so they let non-Interactors to join. And it's free! I had so much fun! We learned how to make bread (though a lot of the work was done by the helpers there..haha), made walnut and chocolate muffin plus butter cookies. And we met the pakar baker, Mr. Don Yong or Young, not sure. He explained to us the essential ingredients to make bread: flour, water, yeast and salt. And went on explaining about how the bread forms and we were laughing cos it was like chemistry, learning about respirasi anaerob.
It's so fun to spend a day baking instead of being at school, feeling depressed about your oh-so-low physics marks. And me and Alyssa were singing, 'Yea...you know you gotta help me out..yeaaaa..." Haha. Later on though, my group's muffins went missing. No idea where it went. We still took back some muffins but it wasn't ours cos ours had no 4 at the bottom of the paper. Oh well, at least we had our bread. It tasted so good! Especially when it's fresh out of the oven!
